Sean co-founded and scaled sales at multiple companies by developing a repeatable system that helps companies learn fast and execute methodically at the same time. He used it to co-found GrowthX and GrowthX Academy, and it's been licensed to incubators from Canada to Asia. You can find him speaking at sales conferences or places like the London Business School and the NASDAQ, and helping establish companies to become disruptors by developing new markets.

Will is an industrial engineer who's run an array of challenging businesses from farming to mining operations and more. He co-founded GrowthX and the dating platform OneAndOnly.com, which outpaced an impressive array of competitors before being bought and rebranded as Match.com. He's gone on to invest in or lead more than 160 companies and still helps some of the very biggest in the world transition to new technology fast.

TK has founded multiple companies, the latest of which is Unstoppable—a company that is redefining the way entrepreneurs educate and arm themselves to thrive in business and in life. TK's experience includes navigating from head counts of zero to 80 and then up to 1,300 people and beyond. He's done it in turbulent global markets with some of the best. After leaving a job at Ray Dalio's Bridgewater, he founded ToutApp and grew it from zero to 80 people before its acquisition by Marketo, where he became senior vice president of strategy and helped the company get to acquisition by Adobe. He also pitched in one investment in ToutApp from Eric Reese (who you may know as the author of the book The Lean Startup) as well as Andreessen Horowitz (the legendary venture capital firm that's in companies like Facebook, Lyft, and way too many more to name).

Jason is the co-founder and CEO of Vari®. He has more than 20 years of experience building and running successful companies. He accepted the award for 2016’s fastest growing company in the Dallas area at the annual SMU Cox Dallas 100™ Awards Ceremony, and in 2017 he was honored with EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year award alongside his co-founder and longtime business partner. He has also spoken at industry events including Dreamforce, The C-Suite Conference, and Startup Grind where he shared the stage with other established leaders like Melanie Whelan of Soul Cycle. In 2018, Jason was interviewed by CNN Money on the NYSE floor, and he spoke at Australia’s Parliament in 2015 regarding workspace innovations and their effects on public health. He has been published by Forbes, Entrepreneur, Inc. and more.

The results of a 23,000 employee study spanning 45 different countries show that there are 5 things that motivate people (and teams) above and beyond their goals and objectives to deliver on their mission (aka "discretionary effort").

UC Berkely's Dacher Keltner sampled NBA games and counted "high fives".   Science rocks.  And, so do high fives if you are a team wanting to collaborate more effectively.

The No-Frills Daily 'Stand-up' 

This structure is appropriate when your meeting is made up of your team for a project or initiative that is underway (not one where you are kicking off an effort, or introducing a concept). Typically it's done daily, you can use the same format for a weekly meeting, though you'll want to extend the time limits outlined below.
